10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for Permanent Commission as Officer

Course Commencing -Jan 2023

Applications are invited from Unmarried Male Candidates (Indian Nationals) to join the INDIAN NAVY for a Four Year B.Tech Course under the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme.

1. Only One Application by a Candidate- Can apply for one or both Branches.
2. Candidates will be shortlisted for SSB Based on their First preference.
3. If not shortlisted as per first preference, may be considered for the alternative Branch if available slot.
4. If a candidate has opted for only one Branch, He will not be considered for another Branch, whether an alternative slot is available.

Eligibility Conditions:

Educational Qualification:	Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or Equivalent from the Board with at least 70% Marks in Aggregate (PCM) plus 50% marks in English either in Class 10th or 12th.
Who Can Apply?	Candidates who have Appeared in JEE Main 2022 for BE/B.Tech Exam. On the Basis of JEE main (All India Common Rank List (CRL)-2022 Published by NTA
Medical Standards & Examination	A Candidate, recommended by the SSB (Staff Selection Board)- will undergo a Medical Examination by the Board of Service Medical Officers. Medically Fit candidates by the Board will be recommended for the Merit List. (The Candidate must be Physically & Mentally Fit in all respect, and free from any disease and Disabilities, Obese/Underweight). Training	Selected Candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the Four years B.Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering as per the Naval Requirements (Degree awarded by JNU) The Entire Cost of Training including Books and Reading material/Clothing/Food will be Born by the Indian Navy.
