PGT Maths – Master's Degree in Maths with at least 50% marks + B.Ed with at least 50%, or the specified two-year integrated NCERT/RIE qualification.

PGT English – Master's Degree in English with at least 50% marks + B.Ed with at least 50%, or the specified two-year integrated NCERT/RIE qualification.

PGT Physics – Master's Degree in Physics with at least 50% marks + B.Ed or equivalent, or the specified two-year integrated NCERT/RIE qualification.

TGT Maths – Bachelor's Degree in Maths with at least 50% marks + B.Ed with at least 50% marks + CTET/STET Paper-II qualification, or the specified four-year integrated NCERT/RIE course.

Laboratory Assistant (Physics) – 12th/Intermediate with Science and Physics as one of the subjects or equivalent.

Counsellor – Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology OR Post Graduate in Child Development OR Graduate/Post Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling.

Band Master – Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major Course from AEC Training College & Centre, Pachmarhi OR equivalent Naval/Air Force course.

Art Master – Master's Degree in Fine Art with Painting specialization OR Graduate with Fine Art/Art/Drawing & Painting plus the required diploma OR Higher Secondary/Intermediate/Sr. Secondary with the required Fine Art/Painting/Drawing & Painting diploma.

PGT Maths / English / Physics: 21–40 years TGT Maths / Laboratory Assistant: 21–35 years Counsellor / Band Master / Art Master: 21–50 years Age as prescribed in the official notification.

Experience requirements vary by post.

Teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated English-medium residential school is desirable for teaching posts.

Relevant residential-school, military-school, Sainik School or boarding-school experience is desirable for Band Master and Art Master.

Experience handling children in a residential school is preferred for Counsellor.
