🎓 Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed full-time regular engineering qualification from a recognized university / institute for the respective technical discipline.
- Mechanical: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Mechanical or specified equivalent disciplines.
- Electrical: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Electrical or specified equivalent disciplines.
- Electronics: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Electronics or specified equivalent disciplines.
- Naval Architecture: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering in Naval Architecture or specified equivalent disciplines.
- Finance: Graduate + CA / Cost Accountant / ICMA qualification OR 2-year PG Diploma / PG Degree in Finance.
Lateral entry to the 3rd semester of an 8-semester course / 2nd year of a 4-year course is also considered equivalent for the engineering disciplines.
Post-graduate integrated technical degree courses of 5 years duration after 10+2 are also allowed for the engineering disciplines.
💼 Experience Required
Candidates should possess a minimum of 01 year relevant post-qualification experience OR 01 year Graduate Apprenticeship training as on 31 July 2026.
Apprenticeship training in any industry is also considered as experience for this recruitment.
Only post-qualification experience will be counted.

25% General Aptitude + 75% Subject / Trade related questions.
Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents.
Candidates clearing document verification proceed to this stage.
Written Test: 85% + Group Discussion / Interview: 15%.
General / EWS – 40%
SC / ST / PwBD / OBC(NCL) – 35%
The Written Test may be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) or Pen-Paper Based Test (PBT).

- Engineering graduates meeting the prescribed discipline requirements can apply for the relevant technical posts.
- Eligible Finance candidates meeting the CA / Cost Accountant / Finance PG qualification criteria can apply for the Finance post.
- Candidates must also satisfy the minimum experience / apprenticeship requirement.
- The recruitment is open on an All India basis.

📍 Place of Posting
The initial posting may be at Goa Shipyard Limited or any other GSL unit / project site as decided by the company.
Depending upon project requirements, selected candidates may be transferred to different GSL units, departments, work sites or projects.
The notification also states that candidates may be required to serve on-board ships or at project / work sites anywhere in India or abroad, depending upon the requirement.
