68th Short Service Commission (Technical) Men Course – April 2027.
Eligible unmarried male Engineering Graduates and eligible final-year engineering
students can apply online to join the Indian Army as commissioned officers.
Training will be conducted at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, Bihar.

Permanent Commission : After 10 years of Service
Engineering Qualification
Candidates must possess a B.E./B.Tech degree in one of the notified Engineering
streams. Eligible final-year engineering students may also apply subject to the
conditions mentioned in the official notification.
Engineering streams may include Civil, Computer Science/IT, Electrical,
Electronics & Communication, Mechanical and other specified disciplines.
Candidates should carefully match their engineering degree and stream with the
official notification.
Selection Procedure
There is no conventional written examination for this SSC Technical
entry. Candidates are shortlisted based on their academic performance and applicable
cut-off. Shortlisted candidates are then called for the following stages:
- Application Shortlisting
- SSB Interview
- Medical Examination
- Final Merit List
